Keep Your House Clean Between Visits
Start At The Door
Keep doormats at all entrances to your home. Place a large rough mat outside your entry for wiping mud or snow off boots and shoes. Place an absorbent mat inside the entry to soak up moisture. This will catch a lot of the dirt that could eventually damage your carpets and floors.

Vinyl Mini Blinds Like Downy
Wipe mini-blinds with a damp fabric softener sheet. This will eliminate the static that causes dust to stick. This also works for computer and television screens.

Conquer Bathroom Crust
To prevent soap scum build up on frosted shower doors or tile walls, apply a light coating of lemon oil or Gel Gloss with a soft cloth. Keep it off the floor though, as it could be slippery. Use a squeegee to remove excess water off the shower walls and door after every use, or wipe them down with a towel (preventive maintenance!).

Pet Hair Everywhere
To remove pet hair from upholstery or fabric, slightly dampen a terry washcloth and lightly go over the fabric in one direction. Your pet’s hair will roll up making it easy to remove.
